Looked like it was pulled to save time unless it went up in flames after I read it. It was headed that way when the original poster was talking about one of the more respected people on these forums and many people who knew him or had done business with him were stepping to his defense.
There wasn't any deep dark plot to protect an advertiser if that is what is being hinted. More like dodging having to play hall monitor and baby-sit the thread.
