Xmas Pool

I got to spend Christmas eve with my daughter shooting pool for 4 hours! We played a race to 25 in 9 ball and I gave her the 7,8 & 9. Then we played some straight pool and finished with a little bottle pool.

But the best thing is that we spent that time talking about her life, and her new boyfriend and just life in general.

It may have been the highlight of all of my time spent at a pool table. Hope you all had a equally pleasant holiday.

Awesome!

That just sounds splendid. It's nice to be able to chat with your kids over the pool game. It's humbling, if you know what I mean. I also spent some time with my daughter. She is 8 and doesn't have a boyfriend yet. She got her first cue for Christmas, just like the one she asked for on Santas list. Needless to say that even with the flu she was happy and didn't let me shoot a single thing after I broke... So technically I gave her all 9.

Still it was one of the best parts of the day.
