Extreme Pool Challenger put on a great live stream for Zingales pool tournament this weekend.

I sat in the booth for a short while with Gary, when I was called to play a match.

I played on the humongous wide pocket tables at the front of the pool room with a measles ball, both of which I am not familiar with. I truly wished I had given my opponents a better game, not to mention that I would like to have beaten them.

My level of play could be compared to someone in the APA who had a rating of maybe 5 at best. I truly don't know what happened but I played so poorly I am embarrassed. Oh well, it's not the first time.

My opponents played decent enough to spank me pretty good. 2 and out.

Zingales has a very nice pool room and I got the chance to catch up with some ole friends and meet some new ones. Had a good time overall, just have to play better pool next time and sit in the booth more often.

My crew wanted to leave early so I didn't get a chance to redeem myself in the 2nd chance tournament but I hear my pal Mike DeLawder won the event.

I sure would like to do some more commentary with Gary Patrick and the other Gary when opportunity presents itself. They have a great crew. I like the novel things they are doing as far as presentation is concerned and can't wait to visit with them again.

Long ride,

JoeyA

I’m glad you got a chance to hang out with XPC Gary P. and Gary G. they’re great guys. Kyle is the tech guy that makes all that magic happen, he’s fantastic too. When Gary P. first started out with his vision of playing on a tight pocket 10ft table I did a lot of commentating with him and then traveled around with XPC helping where I could. Gary’s devotion is truly a labor of love and he’d like to see the sport evolve into something greater. I know firsthand how hard they all work at XPC.

Thanks for supporting them,
Rick H.

XPC is at the top of a very short list of streamers that do it right. IMO, they are second only to Accu-Stats.

Gary G was a gracious anchor commentator and I had fun hanging out with him even if it was a short run. I wish we would have stayed around longer so I could have sat in the booth with Gary P. We were listening to he and Gary G do commentary and they sounded great.

I need to send Gary G a note so I guess I will check on their website for an email address.

I think they do as good if not a better jo9b than anyone out there. I like that you can pick from a few different matches to watch, and all HD quality.

I agree with all the positive comments about XPC and Gary. I met Gary last year at the U.S. Amateurs qualifier in Stuart, FL and he was such a pleasant guy. All the guys in his crew work hard to stream a quality product.

I've seen a few of their streams. Excellent quality and capable of viewing up to 5-6 tables at a time. Free too.

JoeyA, Do you have the results from the Zingale's Tournament August 27th - 28th? How everyone finished in the money or do you know where I can find it? We go to press this weekend for Stroke Pool Magazine and everyone at the pool hall can't find the results. I know Justin Hall won it, Mike Davis was 2nd and Tommy Kennedy 3rd.
Thanks for any help
Don

Hi don,

Mike DeLawder won the Second Chance tournament.

Other than that one statistic, I might suggest you contact Mike Zingales. If you need his phone number, just PM me.
