you found 5 grand could only spend on a cue or cues ,what would the pick be ?

Huebler Blue Mammoth and the rest would go to whatever Titlist conversion I could find that was made by a reputable maker. If no Titlist are available then whatever flavor of the week I'm currently drooling over. Bob Owens or maybe a Frey?

Damn. That’s a sharp looking cue. I’m thinking about replacing the cheap table I have in the garage right now that the kids use, but after seeing that I’m thinking of getting a new cue. If they have a 59” I just might have to do it. Damn good looking cue.
Why 59"...? balance...? ...so a 60" is a deal breaker...?

I have no idea what length my brand new player is, or the one I had for the 20yrs prior.

Since $5K probably aint enough for a Searing or a Szamboti and I have to stick to the guidelines I would probably pay $5k for a one piece bar cue that Diamond sells as long as it came with a Diamond bar box.

I’d be hard pressed not to just hand it over to Bob Owens along with some very general preferences and say “Make me something special”...

think you meant well with that reply but read it again.. sounds like you are sorry you got a couple cues
If I had $5K that I had to spend on cues it would not be on a Lambros because I already own two of Mikes fabulous cues .... better ?

Maybe, I can't say I've played with a 60", I might like it better though. But I definitely don't want a 58" again. It just doesn't seem right now that I've played with my Mobley for so long.

lets play a game if you had 5 grand and was only able to spend it on cues . which cue would it be ?
in the game you cab spend all 5 on one cue or buy 2 or 3 to 5 grand

same as saying if you had 10 grand
I'd spend 1/2 on the case and the other half on a cue & break stick.

If I found $5,000 and I had to spend it on a cue, I would go through a reputable manufacturer to design a custom butt exactly how I want. Everything from the tip, ferrule, shaft, joint, forearm, butt, butt cap, rubber bumper - made with my exact specifications for designs, materials, colors. I would go with a trustworthy manufacturer so I could get the lifetime warranty coverage, yet still have a one of a kind cue that no one else has.

$5000 would basically become only a down payment on the cue I’d have Joel Hercek make for me.

The theme I’ve designed for this pool cue is based on the Knights Templar & uses ivory & real silver
not shiny nickel. It’s a gorgeous design but CA’s ivory ban got in the way and so it never happened.

I love the cues in my collection.......Palmer, Runde, Scruggs, Prewitt, Owen and Rauenzahn. I’ve owned
other cue-makers like Stroud, Black, JMW, several Schon’s but without a doubt, Hercek is just the best .

Hey Joel, if you get to read this, I’ve never forgotten our conversation and perhaps one day I just might
surprise you & ask if the offer still applies. Mr. Hercek sits on the top shelf when it comes to cue making.
