Your DREAM table?

Nothing even comes close to a Gabriel. First State Billiards in Dover Delaware has 4 of them kept in perfect condition by the pool player owner Jimmy. You just have to play on one to believe it.

I have one just like them for sale. You can own it for $3,000.00 and its brand new.

My poolhall I go to has tonnes of tables in the basement in storage... He has a 10" centennial down there too!! Wish he would have it set up, be awesome to play on that thing!!

In my dream home, my game room would contain the following pool tables to select from.

Brunswick Gold Crown V - 9'
Olahusen Grand Champion 3 - 9'
Diamond Professional - 9'
Adler Monarch Classic - 9'
(The Adler would be set in a pit in the center of the room with a bar set around the top of the pit for viewers to watch below)
Riley Tournament Champion Snooker - 12'
Verhoeven Ideal 3-Cushion - 10'
Diamond Pro-Am - 7'

For the record, you could walk out of the game room to the outdoor pool that would be styled like a Gold Crown V with black laminate sidings and 6 hot tubs for the pockets, and Simonis 860 Green paint for the bottom of the pool.

The rest of my dream home design wise is still up in the air, but I have this much of the home design figured out. :)

It would have to be a 10' Hermelin pool table with heated slate like the one at Best Billiards in Las Vegas...it's the Rolls Royce for sure.

years ago Diamond Billiards worked with Samsara on a custom one off ( I believe it was a 6 leg model with custom carvings), maybe someone can post pics

I'd have them do something similar, 10 footer

Table

If I had a lot of room and all the money a person could count I'd have a few tables, actually several tables' I don't know of a real pool table museum but if I was silly rich I'd open one and there'd be a few tables built by glen hancock and a few built by mark gregory and those two can settle their feud....

The first table you'd see when you walked in would be a brunswick.... Or maybe the tables would rotate and change with the season.
There would be as many styles and models of pool tables from new to old.
My personal favorite table would be which ever table I decided to ratchet down on.

I grew up in the 1940's-50's and lived in a large home with a huge Parlor.
Smack-dab in the center sat a Gorgeous 5x10 Brunswick Kling w// Ivory Balls.
I was allowed begin play at age 8 and have been playing ever since. My Dad
sold the table when I signed up for another four years flying for the U.S. Navy.

DreamTable(s) ... 5×10 Kling, 6×12 Burroughs & Watts, 5×10 Centennial 3c.

I now have room for them and may begin "the hunt" in the near future.

See my avatar. 9' Brunswick Anniversary. New artemis cushions, Simonis 860. Made the light myself - along with the rest of the room. It's like heaven.

Hey sjb, I am wondering, can you tell me why you chose 860? I am hoping to get my own table just like yours in the somewhat near future and am trying to figure out pros/cons on 860 vs. 760. Thanks

Does anyone use 760 anymore?

For me IF there is room I would like 2 diamond 7' and 2 diamond 9'. That way I can actually play some on the big table instead of having to drive 20+ minutes both ways to the nearest location to so.

Realistically though if I got a new home space wise as long as I have at least 1 diamond 7' I would be happy...or even 1 of each size. Now I just need to win the lottery to afford it :frown:

I'm also a big fan of Brunswick 10' Centennial and Anniversary tables. Any 9' GC would also be a-ok with me. But considering my current home table is a 24" Halex, I'd be happy with anything I can get.

I already have my dream table (the GCII in avatar) although I kinda like the way the GCVs look. My next dream is to have a Diamond BB to go along with my GC, if I had more room I would order one today but that will require an addition on our house. I would like the Diamond BB only because thats what we play league on and most tournaments, I would not trade my 9' GC even up for a Diamond 9' table, I like the way the GC looks and I like the way the Diamond plays, thats why I had my table modified the way it is.

Here's Mine

I saved this one from an uncertain death. Took 4 months to rebuild it. It turned out much nicer than I was hoping for. These things are built like tanks, and play incredible.
