Your favourite breakout position 14.1

I try to leave myself this shot for the last ball. For, when the rack comes back out, there's just so much more flexability in this shot depending on how confident you're getting to the table.

Shoot hard and have a decent break out to shape off the rack...

Shoot medium and tap out a few balls (again, depends on speed of the table)

Shoot soft and end up from an opening break position/stratagy opening

I'm not saying it's the correct one, just one that I prefer.

Edit: Tried fixing the "9ball" not in rack.

Personally I like to have the break ball near the top of the rack on the left hand side. I always get a nice yield when I am able to hit the head ball solid. You don't need as much angle this way, and the cueball is pretty predictable coming off of the stack.
