Your first cue that you regret selling...

I still regret selling my Palmer model D from the second catalog. But I had just bought a used fancy Balabushka and didn't think I needed to keep the Palmer. The Balabushka had MOP diamonds and dots in the points and MOP dots and Fleur-de-lis in the butt sleeve. I sold that in 1973 for $125.00 (what I had paid for it) to buy a new skeet gun and thought I had done well with getting my money back. My wife urged me to keep it because she knew how much I liked it and pool, but I had given up pool for skeet.

Sometimes it pays to listen to the wife!

Yeah, my first Cue was a Hoppe, a nice one with bright colors. It had a linen wrap & played well. If I had it today, I 'd ask Guido to put his joint in it ....
