Your most bone-headed move in pool

Sorry for a repeat story that was shared on a similar topic. Think a player goes to the bathroom. Comes back and breaks the balls. Runs the rack. The players sitting their say " nice runout but your playing on that table" and point one table over. Something like that. Best one I have heard.

I've missed several balls in hand over the years...not from lack of focus of course. It's because the shots were really at a very tough angle! Mitch

Don't feel bad. We've all done it. Thinking about something else probably. I was watching a video of Machine Gun Lou Butera and saw him miss a BIH. Made me feel better.

Ball in hand in 9-ball.

There is about 2 ball widths between the 1 and the 9, but the 1 is frozen to a ball such that I can't play the combo.

I'm trying to place the cue ball between the 1 and 9 and it slips, hits the one half ball from above and perfectly sinks the 9 ball.

Recently in a weekly 9-ball tournament, I get ball in hand early in the match; race to 7, I think it was 1-1. I line up on the 3-ball and proceed to run out, after pocketing the 9-ball I notice the 2-ball is still on the table. Opponent congratulates me on a nice run out, tells me he wanted to see how far I'd get before noticing it. I chuckled about it, got more chances later and won the match 7-5.

I was playing snooker and had to bridge a shot using the long cue & bridge provided (which happens quite often playing snooker) and in order to get out of the way of the cue ball I had to lift the long cue and bridge out of the way fast.

Well I lifted them so fast they took out the florescent table lights. glass all over the place. :)

I had carry about 30 flats of pop up a couple of flights of stairs to make up for making such a mess on the table.

About 2 weeks ago i had some friends over to play. We were playing scotch doubles and we scratched with only the 9 ball left on the table. I grabbed it to concede the game and started racking......my buddy says i was going to make you shoot that......turns out they scratched and i was completely zoned out and looked like a jackass

The one I can't stop doing is going for the low percentage stuff. I feel like I get over confident and sell out sometimes.

Saw this pretty unique move where someone looked for a bridge at the foot of the table where the ball return was, of course he didn't find the bridge so he gets up and walks all the way around to the head of the table. After not finding the bridge again he finally looked up/around as if coming out of a haze realizing he's should be looking under the long rails not the short rails.

As for myself the one that sticks out was getting ball in hand and promptly missing a combination on the 9-ball which was hanging in the corner. Not too much of a big deal but the 1-ball came off the rail and knocked the cueball into the side pocket, so it went from what looked like an easy BIH win for me turned into an easy BIH win for him........after he stopped laughing.

Played Billy the kid Lana 20 years ago flying on the wrong chemicals. Kept raising the bet won a few ultimately lost my shirt.
