that was a great post david.....👏👏 (i had to delete some of it so the part i bolded would show)
the best part to me is you accept your level of play based on the amount of time and effort you are willing to devote to it
yet
STILL ENJOY PLAYING .......:love::love:
p.s.
how can you not enjoy playing with that Nitti cue of yours.....;)
I loved my Nitti! I was also able to do some interviews with Chris online. Lovely looking (and playing) cues.

Care to point out where I lied about your Bond stuff? Calling someone a liar is pretty strong.

We are two very different dudes. You say anything that you think makes you look good, which it often doesn't, and I speak the truth as precisely as I can.
Was this the "compliment" I couldn't take? "I lie to look good, and you speak truth?"

Wow, PLEASE tell me you don't write for Hallmark.

Here am I, singing truth, so please actually listen:

Thank you for asking. In the Pro Pool Clinic intensive, an average student will increase two points in APA handicap (they will win many of their matches in the weeks after the clinic) and those who buckle down and apply themselves could do even more.
When does their handicap go from say a 4 to 6?
I'm a dunce when it comes to understanding how handicap systems work as far as, x games above average ability results in handicap going up x points. I just haven't seen people go up in ability 2 skill points or go from gambling a person 5/7 race to 7/7 race in less than a year or so.

I've had a lot of league-member students who are awarded a handicap bump one to two months after a clinic or private lesson.

At the risk of more flames, when one of my guys or gals wins most of their matches for weeks, they get bumped up. League directors notice (and I have nice students who don't sandbag for trips to Vegas).

Really the point is they show permanent improvement.

And speaking of shameless plug, would you like to join the Florida Clinic?

I can't unfortunately. I've planned all the trips I can afford this year.

I do lessons in person or on Zoom, and am taking 35 PTO days for vacation/conferences this year, I know the feeling!
Conferences are not vacation😉 or so I'm told. Work/ life they tell me.
If I die before I see TK juggle in real life I will be upset.
Might take you up on the zoom. I will go through a new learning phase soon. I'm on the couch/ chips phase right now.

TK is smaller in stature, if you can make it, we'll juggle HIM. Haha.
