YouTube Luc Salvas video

When he's in stroke he is very fun to watch. I've noticed that he is not as fast as Tony Drago. Tony is a real big guy, and he literally runs around the table and 1 strokes everything, and he gets out. Luc is an all around good guy, he never complains, and he always seems to be cheerful, even when things arent going his way. He is a great asset to the game. I heard he was drilling everyone in the first few rounds of the IPT event.

Tony has qualified for Reno im pretty sure so maybe he will meet Luc there. I dont know of them ever meeting in the past. Im not sure of their egos but you know each must hear the others name all the time. If they played each other, both of them would probably play even faster. Would be a fun match to watch.
Definitely a great safety battle. That one game lasted longer than the three previous runouts by Salvas, combined.
What's admirable to me is both that Salvas has the patience to go blow-for-blow in a safety battle, and that Busta is still within his playing speed not to try and catch up with Luc's lighting-fast rhythm.

Yeah, I feel bad for the cameramen who have to anticipate his next shot. So many times you can tell they're jogging around the table trying to get his next shot and the camera is shaking until they stop.... which is all for a half second.

That video was amazing, difficiult to see how he can pull off such shots without thinking.
I wouldn't say Drago is faster than him, they are about equal. I saw them play each other at the WPC 2 or 3 years ago, obviously the match went quick, but hard to follow as the games were over before you saw the patterns!
