The double, back and forth, into the closest opposite pocket.
I can't find any instruction on this shot.
Can anyone explain the aim, technique, and why the method works? Or point me in the right direction.

These shots.
And the z bank to the far opposite pocket as well.

Oops, actually. . I just realized these are kick to bank shots.
The shot I'm wondering about is a double bank where the OB hits two rails.
But the diagram might still be of use

too complicated and very speed dependent
what you found below works and is much simpler...

Sorry I did not check my pms,
And on top of that I don't follow, hahaha...
I'm having trouble discerning where the original spot of the object ball is in your description.
Also, what English would do to this shot.
And what your intended pocket is, I don't understand that either.

Thoughts?
It doesn't work in a lot of conditions. It is table dependent.

Here's a way that might work for you that depends on your current one-rail banking skill: Taking speed and the table into account decide on a spot on the second cushion to bank the ball to then just bank the ball to the spot you have picked.

The distance of that second cushion contact from the end you are trying to get to will be more or less proportional to how far down the table the ball goes on the travel from first to second cushion. The proportion depends on the speed and the cloth.

Try practicing by picking out a second cushion point and let us know how it works.

The only system I ever saw for this was from Jimmy Reid on one of his videos, I have it written down somewhere. It was a little complicated but worked reasonably well. However, I never committed it to use. First, the shot rarely comes up. Second, it is very sensitive to speed, spin, and table conditions as mentioned. Better to resort to judgement and experience when and if it does come up, and try to channel Efren...
