Zan tips

Any of you experience with the Zan tips?

I had 2 medium and they were very hard.

Had a soft and that was the worst multilayered tip I had so far. Zero elasticity, hard to get english, and deformates quickly (flattening, but no mushrooming). Very strange.

In Germany I payed 20 Euros for each, it was the first time I got angry 'cause of a bad tip.

Any other experiemce with these Zan? Or did I have a bad luck and took some rivets??

My experience

I have used Zan and i was using Moori before that! I thought the feel was quite solid initially until i constantly miscueing with the tip. Have to chalk them really regularly and before the tip was used to 80%, i was back to moori!

strange enough, I have a positive feedback. It's the best tip I have ever played with. Well, I bought the soft tip, and indeed it also felt a tad harder than a soft, but it had no mushrooming even after 6 months of intensive play.
It gripped the cueball insanely well.
To be honest, I'm surprised about the statements, but each to their own experience I guess.
I'm only curious about some of the new tips on market like a "Thomas" tip and G2 tip. I wonder how they play but if they're no improvement on the Zan, you really won't see me switching back.
