'Zeki' tables from Turkey.......

I’d love to get my hand on some of that impact resistant varnish! Might be a viable finish for lots of projects and cues.

What I posted is a photo from their website.
its a translation is what i was saying. often these are not accurate to actual info. i run into this issue a lot searching asian cues and stuff. some of the trim/skirts etc might be mdf but i doubt the rails themselves are. i've asked them this stuff, just waiting on replies.

US agent sent some pics. The base is thick MDF box. Frame is metal, looks like steel, with slate adjusters. Rails on the Master are thick plywood. No pics of the Tourn. but they may be indeed a thick MDF material. Still not sure.

Looks like the Masters is the top model. Same frame/legs but it uses the thick ply rails like on their top 3c table. US agent(really a good guy. communicates fast) said he sells it for same price currently. Prices i've seen on-line show it being about $4-600 more than a Tournament. Well, my dive into Zeki's is done. Cool looking tables at pretty decent prices. Out...........................

Oh boy! I asked Zeki how the slate is levelled and they sent me this video on the Master - fanciest - table being set up.

It has a steel frame that the slate is bolted to. To me this is the be-all and end-all of keeping the table level. Woodscrews and shims: pshaw.

The pockets are regular drop-in and not flush to the rail as we have become used to.

The end rails are bolted to the side rails in a simple way that is unattractive.

Enjoy, as they say in California.

Still a pretty damn nice table for 5300 delivered.
