To be honest, I tested them. My friend bought one from the German retailer DoubleDaveCues.
What I can say is that it is equipped with a Universal Smartshaft, so that part is a known playability. Some like it, some don't.
The cue we ended up purchasing, was the ZU06, which is a bit more on the higher priced side of the Zeus range. That particular cue was well constructed, no complaints about it. It was a cocobolo cue with inlays and a black linnen grip.
So I'd say the Zeus cues aren't expensive but neither inexpensive.
The only negative remark that I did notice was that some of the lower priced Zeus cues, for example the jmw cues weren't that "accurate" on finishing the points. My point about it was that indeed, you're not getting a Bushka for a few hundred dollars, but I have seen cheap Chinese cues that can rival the points of those specific models. While those Chinese cues only cost like 50-80 dollars...
The Zeus Break Cue, recently arrived. We tested it last week. It has a stainless ferrule/phenolic tip combo. I can only say that the black painted finish with silver letters is as good as can be. And the cue definately breaks well. I managed to get a few balls down on a regular base in 8-ball and I'm just a tiny guy,
