With great regret I have decided to sell my Zylr sneaky pete. I have only had the cue for a little over two weeks. I love the way the cues plays but I can't get used to a wrapless cue. As many of you know the demand for Zylr's is very high right now. Kerry has a three year waiting list for his players cues and it took 7 months for my sneaky pete to be completed.

The cue is made from a 20 year old valley purpleheart house cue. It weighs 20 oz & has one 13 mm shaft with an Ivor-X ferrule & Kamui medium tip. The shaft has a nylon-kevlar insert that screws together tightly and will not wear out. The joint is buckhorn & has a SS 3/8x11 pin. The cue features one fancy ring pack in the buttsleeve and has a delrin buttcap emblazoned with the famous Zylr "Z". The cue has a very crisp and stiff hit. It has a great balance and feel to it.

Feel free to PM me with reasonable offers or trades on this cue.

-Andy

Think it would be possible to have it reworked, and Wraped. Take to a local Cuemaker....

IDEA....
I thought about this and decided it might hurt the reasale value of the cue to have it modified after market. I also like my shafts to be 12.5 mm and I've heard that you shouldn't have Zylr shafts turned down due to the special taper on them.

You could send it back to Kerry and have HIM wrap it and take the shafts down to 12.5mm to keep the original taper.

It's an option.

Since most likely that cue has a dual taper ( the handle area is most likely has less angle than the forearm ), that's a great idea. His taper template has all the settings he likes.
Same with the shafts.
Now, asking him to take that shaft down to 12.5MM is another matter.
He dun't like it b/c it changes the hit of his cues.
And, you will have to wait for it to get done a long time b/c he has 4 years of work at hand.
