Take all of the weight out of your break cue

Force = Mass x Speed Squared, so speed (squared) is more important, but weight (mass) plays a a significant part. It takes less speed to deliver the same amount of force with a heavier cue, so there's a tradeoff - stronger players might be able to move a heavier cue at the same speed I can move my lighter one, getting more cue ball speed without more speed-related inaccuracies.

if this is absolutely true, then why don't we have six, eight or ten ounce break cues??

Any help identifying this cue

I wonder how colors might impact pool play.

Balls. Cloth.

35 years ago one of the tables I played on had salmon cloth. Everybody hated it. It was in an "upscale" location and the cloth was picked by an interior designer.
I hear ya Chop Way back 25-30yrs ago there was 1 table in the league that had fire engine red cloth on it(owners choice). Nobody liked playing on that table, and if an 18 wheeler went by the place, the balls moved alittle bit. LOL No $hit true story

Fedor Gorst on the Joe Rogan podcast today

I doubt it. My guess is that Fedor can get staked, even for that amount.

I have never watched an entire long race in my life, but if these two match up, that is likely to change. They'll both be remembered as among the greatest that ever played, and they are both in their prime.

Really hope this happens.

fedor wants 50k a side so it does seem like high rolling, but i too hope they meet an agreement. and play all the DCC games. i would watch a long 9b/10b but it not being 1p, banks too would be a shame

American pool in London?

Off the top of my head:

London Snooker (Tooting)
Spots & Stripes (Redhill)

Raging Ball (St Albans, Greenford and High Wycombe).

Spots and Stripes plays host to two GB9 tour stops a year. Slightly outside of London but good set-up.
London Snooker hosts "London's Finest" pool events.

Raging Ball actually advertised on Google as a bingo room. However, High Wycombe and St Albans clubs were both very nice clubs to play in, pre-covid.

I used to co-run events from a Rileys club in Solihull (100 miles north of London). They offer discount rates to students, who abuse the tables. Then they charge top whack to serious players who bring their own cues, balls, chalk and racks.
This about right, there was a rileys, in shepherds bush and one in wealdstone both closed long ago.
