Rules question

Was playing some one pocket and my opponent shot a ball at his pocket. The ball glanced off balls already in his pocket and left the table.

It obviously was a drop pocket.

I called it as a foul and he maintained it was pocketed and kept on shooting.

I've never had this come up before in One Pocket.

I thought it's incumbent on the player to remove balls from his pocket so this doesn't happen.

Kaci calls out the top Pinoys. All of them.

Saw a post about Kaci refusing to play anywhere in Asia. Feels like he's just looking for an excuse not to play. It's much more reasonable to compete in Asia than to expect ten guys with Stake horses to travel so far from home.
Of course he is not going Asia. Don´t give home court edge to opponent and then there is security issues. Like getting robbed etc..
Kaci is not bs guy and he is definitely playing those matches and most likely bet his own. He is just make statement because people think he is sore loser because wax gate. I would take Kaci if i was betting. he can lost 1 or max 2 from 5 matches if opponents are 5 different players.

Rebuttal by Johann Chua re Waxgate

Unfamiliarity. It only takes one contrived junction to irreparably alter the course of the tournament. For instance, one player on long odds getting by via a rigged match means a stronger player didn't - good news for someone down the line.
Your point is well taken but that would imply that the ''waxer'' is practising with the tampered cueball, plus since he could not do that in every match, would have to dial in on two cueballs...

Question about Jose Parica

Thank you T411 for "liking" a couple of my previous posts on this old thread.

I just re-watched the "You can put that on the internet" thread between Keith McCready and Alex Pagulayan, and I can't believe I never noticed and/or thought about this previously. The last game in the hill-hill thriller, Keith bends down to shoot the 5 left-handed and pulls back. Keith accidentally moved the 9 ball. Instead of losing because of all-ball foul rule, Alex walked up to the table and moved the 9 ball back, allowing Keith to continue shooting for the win.

Fantastic share jam…..back before pool got soft….mostly just robotic boredom now..oh for the days of Keith, buddy, Louie, earl and two dozen more I could name of course. I was blessed to be a part of those real good years from the 70’s on til pool got soft. Thx again.

Fathertime and Dennis won't have the freedom to walk around, smoke his little handheld machine and stretch his legs while his opponent is shooting. Money games in the Philippines are very informal and you get a lot of freedom.

Dennis would have to legitimately sit there and wait till Kaci finishes shooting. Like a legitimate match.
Not sure what that means…a legitimate match
