2026 International Open in St. Augustine?

Played last year -- the setup was lovely.

However, the days I was there it seemed poorly attended by spectators. And it was a one match a day slough. Anywhos, finished tied for 12th-18th in the 1pocket.

New Room in San Francisco's Mission district called 'The Hall'

The Hall is again hosting SVB for a week of challenge matches, instruction, and seminars. June 22-28. The challenge matches are $125 for a race to 4, you pick the game. Spots are going fast. https://www.thehallmission.com/svb
Ooh, here's hoping The Hall posts some of the mic'd-up matches to YT. I enjoyed watching the ones they posted of the previous event even though I felt guilty seeing all the locals get destroyed haha

cue ID help

I'm guessing a import too, probably made by either KaoKao or KaoFa. Something about the sleeve looks off on the top one, the notched diamonds should be centered, cue may have been broken/fixed. AZ'r Joe Lolley used to sell his 'BamaCues' line that were very similar to these. They were very nice imports.
I think I have seen them both.

The first one is nice. I like it.

"High value" when you consider the work that goes into them.

If you're into a fancy cue and don't have much money it's an option.

Most people aren't terribly serious about pool and cues anyway, and honestly you could do well with a cue like that.

Kotke and Overman split top prizes on Q City 9-Ball Tour’s first stop in Burlington, NC

The Q City 9-Ball Tour came to a new venue this past weekend (Sat., Jun 20), Buster’s Bar & Billiards in Burlington, NC, which is within ‘striking’ (easy drive) distance from the five largest population centers in North Carolina and, one presumes, a lot of pool players. It’s about 100 miles NE of Charlotte (#1), 50 miles W of Raleigh (#2), 20 miles E of Greensboro (#3), 30 miles W of Durham (#4), and 45 minutes E of Winston-Salem (#5). It was a last-minute addition to the Q City 9-Ball Tour calendar and that, combined with it being a Father’s […]
