Wtf?

IMO it is very difficult for me to believe that these shots could be done with a 6 ounce cue ball.

I believe he may be a Japanese pro player, but not sure about his identity.

I do know that I played on a few tables in Japan that played super fast and the rails really caught the spin. So, I am not at all surprised by these shots.

I shot similiar shots with a house cue at a Media Cafe in Yokkaichi, Japan. A place called Freaks. Before they re-felted the table, it was playing crazy.
I could use side english, hit a rail, and it would come off at unbelievable angles, and it would travel 5 rails with ease.
After they put new cloth on, the tables played more reasonably.
I don't know what is causing their tables to play so strangely.
I did notice a steam machine. I couldn't tell what exactly it was. It looked like a coffee pot full of water, and it was blowing out steam that looked like white fog. This was over by the darts, but the darts are right next to the pool tables.

The vids have been out as long as the kamui's. Dont know who the guys is yet though.

the thing is that video was shot in Japan. he doesn't even have to be a top tier player to play that well over there. the guys i ran into in japan just played real well

that and all of their equipment is pretty good

Thanks for the flashback!

I spent four years total over there in Okinawa, Japan and that just looked sooooooo familiar, but I didn't recognize anyone in the video so it was probably shot on the mainland. Loved the Kirin beer machine though! I always got a kick that you could cruise up to a vending machine and buy beer! As far as the difficulty of the shots and the unknown shooter's execution of them....I wonder how many attempts each one took? The Japanese were very creative and highly skilled players though so don't knock their ability to perform those feats with a "regular" cueball for sure. Those boys, and girls, can play a bit!

Damn, I wanna play some Naha 9-ball now! If you'd been there, you'd know what I'm talkin' about! LOL
