Here are several Meucci cues that I am looking to sell or trade for GUNS ONLY. Looking for Semi Auto Rifles/Handguns only....or cash...NO lowballers. I AM NOT LOOKING FOR ANY CUE TRADES (just thought I had to put that in due to the large amount of people wanting to trade their cues for my cues....thought I mentioned this somewhere in the description already)

$800 Almost Flawless, has been shot with only several times

$800 New Old Stock, never hit a ball

Just curious,

Where are you finding your prices? A Gambler Meucci (1shaft) in used condition $1200. Is this the going price of an Original?

I thought these cues were around $800 in perfect condition (2shafts)

Any reference would be appreciated as I have been waiting to purchase one but maybe I need to make my decision before they go higher. Are Meucci's actually increasing in this market?

I am interested but could someone plz help to show me where I can find the actual value?

Let's don't beat guys up about the price they ask for their cue. I mean, we all jump down some folk's throats when they ask for offers. We get on to them for not listing a price.

If someone puts a cue up and asks a price that you think is too high, let it ride. It will self-adjust, or maybe there will be someone out there willing to pay his price for it. But really, don't beat the man up for setting a price that he wants for a cue, even if you don't agree. If you want to negotiate a better deal, just PM him...you can beat him up in private there.

Let's just be consistant and fair...can't we all just get along?!? ;)

Not trying to beat him up whatsoever....just asking a question as I am in the market for a Gambler and I was looking for assistance to wear the price may have come from.....sort of like a KBB of auto's.

If I was sounding negative it was not my intention.

gambler price

I might have been wrong about the price, it is not the first gambler that came out, but it is not the last one either with the scrolling Meucci logo. If anyone has any constructive input, it would be greatly appreciated. I posted the list price I found in the BBOC. A cue isn't worth a dime to someone that doesn't think it is worth it. Just because someone lists a price on a cue doesn't mean they will get what they are asking for. I am a realist, the street value of the cue is no where near $1200, due to the market, and other factors including only having one shaft. I list the cue as near flawless because it has been shot with (maybe a handful of times in the past 23 plus years). If I were to clean the shaft and put a new tip on it, the cue would pass for new, but it isn't. therefore I have listed it as being shot with. I am not trying to deceive anyone, just trying to keep the lowballers at bay (you all know who you are). Anyways thanks for some of the support on my behalf from some of the criticism....have a good day

....

oh....and tell my future ex wife that when she gets done with her archery practice to come give me some loving

I promise you I was not critsizing the price. I merely was asking where this info might be optained as to what the current value of the Gambler was in exc condition.

Sorry for the confusion....the cue looks awesome and it is exactly what I am looking for.

dont worry about it

Don't worry I have a pretty thick skin, don't take anything real personal. I don't really need the cash, but if someone makes the right offer (bad economy or not) I would be more than willing to get rid of it. I have another one, that is New Old Stock, with the original factory sticker on it, never hit a ball. I had just posted these cues, more for gun trades than anything else. In the summer I prefer to spend most of my time on the gun range outside, not inside on a table. Have a good day

current price

Oh...I am not really sure of what the current price is... the blue book of cues lists it at $800 in 98% condition. that was the third edition price, and that book is several years old now. But like I said earlier, the cue is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it, as with pretty much anything else............ The chick in the white t-shirt must have the chills

The top cue is the Meucci Originals "Road Agent." I have the same cue. I think it retailed in the late 80s for about $500 or $550. I bought mine new from Mark
Rubin who, at that time, owned Pockets in Lansing, Michigan. I paid about $400. The last time I looked in the Blue Book of Cues, Meucci Originals (not the later Meucci) were listed as worth about 120% of the original value/price. I don't know whether the blue Book is realistic or not. It is a very nice cue, but it can't hold a candle to my stiffer-shafted Schuler.

Hope this helps.

My thoughts too. I got to watch myself on those folks who ask for offers, and then get upset when an offer is made.

If you are ashamed to post a price, dont offer it for sale.

This poster posted a price, if you are interested great, if not move along.

I have 2 firearms I would part with. One is a S&W model 41, accurized by National Champion Alton Dinan, and the other is a S&W model 10 snub. I know the performance aspects of a target gun that matter. As a former state champion shooter, I am a discriminating buyer. The 41 is a world beater in the right hands. The model 10 is a boring blue conceal carry weapon...with the smoothest trigger you will ever find. The accurized 41 would cost $1500 or so to build today, and Dinan has died years ago.

Any trade would conform to all laws and involve appropriate transfer through FFL holders at both seller and buyer locations. Pics available upon request if you have any interest.

As an aside, it disappoints me to see posts criticizing your prices. This is a trade post so what does it matter about the dollar values listed? Besides, the gun trade can be equally inflated in value guaranteeing a retail to retail exchange. How do you compare an unchalked Meucci original to one that has been played or refinished? $800 is a premium price for a perfect or near perfect cue. Go find one that nice for less... if you can find one at all.
