Miniature pool cue

I made this cue a few years back, I had a old Ivory cue ball that had been cut up so I made a Ivory joint and ferrule. I even cut the threads on both ends of the joint. The rubber bumper is not rubber, it is turned from the maple butt and painted black. The hardest part of the project was the leather tip, it was put on last and it I was no longer able to chuck it in the lathe.

OK, that is a lot of work put in the little cue. Now I want to see the other cue, table, and ball set.

It would be fun to pull out in a tourney just to see the look on your opponents face.

That's some fine craftmanship Cuebuddy! I know what you went through -I mean just look at the cue I'm holding in my avatar. It's tough staying centered using the anti-telescoping-Hubble-drill press, I assure you!

Now that you mention it . . . . naah, I don't like veneers. A few inlays and some ivory floating points, maybe!

I have more fun at tournaments and pool rooms with this then you can believe. Once I break it out of the cigar tube I store it in I have to watch it closely because it gets passed around from player to player.

You need to drag it out to show Royce. An OB2 shaft for that cue, now that would be something!
