Going to Paradise Billiards in Charlotte today

Sadly you may be the only ones there today. As nice a room as it is, with killer equipment...yet no one goes. They are offering 50% off pool time now. Next weekend will be slammed with the Tommy Kennedy tournament.:wink:
So what's your verdict? Was it a billiards Paradise or not? You can't get on here talk about going and then not give your opinion of a new place. Are you guys still hanging out there?
I went there first thing in the daytime 1st customer situation. I only had time to eat and run...never really got to see what the place was like you know.

It was indeed a billiards paradise! I wrote something about it that normally would be available on the website in my signature but the site was apparantly hacked into yesterday. 
But it should be back up again soon. 
I love Charlotte, and the pool room is gorgeous. Something I found very interesting (and cool) was that the girl who gave me the table asked whether I wanted a Diamond or Brunswick, and then, when I said "Diamond", she asked if I wanted one with regular pockets or tight pockets...
It was nice to be asked.
p.s. The answer was, of course, "Tight!"
p.p.s. We're headed back out there this weekend for the Carolina Ladies Tournament, so we might get there Friday night to play a little, if anyone's interested.

That #8 table is brutal!! Not only is it super tight, it has the high speed bumpers too....
A great table to get used to. It makes everything else seem like peanuts.

I have a tournament Friday night I always play in at Rack Em, on the other side of town. We are having a league finals tournament ($10K for the winner) this weekend very close by, so if I get a break, I may stop by there to watch some of the ladies action. How would I find you in the crowd?

I did get by there Friday night, but I guess you must have gotten tied up somewhere else. I did get to meet Alicia and her husband, and we shot a few game. Sorry I missed you this time.

I heard you were there and I'm so sorry I missed you! We did actually get there Friday night but it wasn't until a little after eleven...
The tourney's still going on today, though, if you feel like stopping in.
(I got knocked out yesterday but I'm sticking around for the finals.)
