That's awesome!!! Wish I was around there, I'd have to attend, for sure.
Bobby knows more ways around the table than you'd believe

If he ever comes near Tampa, FL I'd jump at $50 for a Bobby Hunter class. I never took a lesson in my 55 years playing...but I would go to his. Johnnyt

hope you gonna tape the lessons Dennis, just like you did with Danny D. They were awesome experience for those who can not attend (like myself). Bobby Hunter, apart being a fierce player himself, has taught one of the best straight pool players John Schmidt, so you could expect a lot from his advice.
Looking forward to the videos.

Will you be taping it Dennis? If so, I would gladly send Bobby some cash and you too for a copy.

Unfortunately, I will miss it.:sorry:

I'll see if Bobby will let one of the guys tape it.

The seminar was great. Bobby first handed out little yellow pads and pens for us to take notes, and I felt like I was back in school. As it turned out, I was.

He started off with safety strategy and then moved on to break shots and patterns. Then we paired two to a table and Bobby watched each of us play for a while and offered suggestions. The final part of the seminar occurred when one of us asked how he deals with shooting with sidespin, especially break shots with sidespin, and Bobby gave us a little side seminar on deflection, swerve and throw (no magic bullet, but helpful ways of getting used to the deflection produced by our own cue sticks). The seminar was scheduled for 3 hours but lasted about 4.

The safety part of the seminar made me realize just how lousy my safety play has been.

A terrific deal for 50 bucks. I highly recommend the seminar if he offers it again. You would have to be an expert straight pool player not to learn at least something that was worth the price of admission.

Sounds great. Sorry I missed it but I did catch 2 walleye today. You'll have to share some tips.

Yes, please! I have no chance to attend such a lesson. Had a feasible opportunity to learn from John "Mr 400", but he had to reject his place in WPC due to financial matters.
