Europe rocks

Well, then we take the world straightpool championships as an example...

Or as the winner said the World 10-ball championships:

"Not being picked for last year's Mosconi Cup is probably my biggest disappoinment in pool. I won the world 10-ball but it wasn't as if I'd not won anything else. To not get picked was disappointing but at the same time Europe have dominated the game for the last 18 months and obviously won in December.

I think he and Dennis made a saver before they played their TAR match...Darren can take the trophy back across the pond and Dennis can keep the money they posted...

Maybe Dennis wants to play again? In England, I am sure the money will be there and something can be arranged? After all he is stealing!!!

Not a peep...

Even in Vegas it was Europe all the way!!!!

To bad Nick lost in the final, as I would love to see a Dutchman take the title.

Bud please, keep the hope and faith for the USA and maybe you will win a tournament one day!

Berry,

Funny how nobody heard a word from your egotistical, trash talkin' self when Darren got his ass handed to him for the dough, but now your back typin' your little fingers to the bone once again gloating with your fellow European winning another tournament. I guess you Euro-boys are about the nuts in tournaments these days and congratulations to Darren for his recent victory. Too bad your boys are chokers for the cash or you might have something to brag about.

Oh, by the way, your absolutely right Berry...The United States of America doesn't have anyone who can compete with your European contingent of "CHAMPIONS" so why don't you just keep sendin' them on over the pond and us chumps will just keep takin' their dough whenever their heads get all bloated from tournament glory! We'll just call it part of the "stimulus package" and say "cheers" after accepting the cash.

On a side note...I want to state that this in no turn should be seen as a flame/bash or in any way derogatory toward Darren or any other player as I have much respect for the European players' skills and tournament victories. This is directed entirely to Mr. Bragadocious Berry, the trash talker who finds it humorous and fun to live vicariously through his continent's champions.

Do you even play pool Berry? Maybe someday by some miracle I'll actually get to meet you in person and since I'm just another American chump, I'm sure you'll be more than happy to just "snap me right on off". My word of advice...bring lots of money and be prepared to be humbled like the trash talkin', non-playin', vicariously livin' nit that you are!

Please insert more of your trash talkin' below this post Berry, as I won't be coming back to read anymore of your sh!t! Sorry for sounding so hostile, but I really do despise people who don't "DO" anything besides talk and antagonize others through there derogatory comments. You want to talk trash about the U.S? Well, come get some!

I love that kind of talk. USA, all the way! :)

I'd green-rep you, but I gotta wait 24 hours before I can spread it around again, and you're first on the list! :grin-square:

Dear Sam,

Thank you for your reply. Love to read more of your constructive idea's! I could realy read in your reply that you have read the complete topic.... NOT!

Listen dude, I was the one who was sweet and nice asking about USA youth players, training schools and future plans for this sport. I noticed that USA players doesn't win a lot of world championships lately... The last 13 championships were without a USA winner. I find that sad and would like to see that USA works on the future of pool.

But your az posters started to start a flaming war with stars and stripes...
I joined that war knowing USA is not realy winning much lately...

Do I play.... ehhhhh yes but some time ago! Now I only play with friends and sometimes train with Niels Feijen ( he seems to be gone a lot ). But I am a trainer coach of the Dutch youth. We started a pool program almost 5 years ago, resulting in a European gold medal 8-ball last summer.

Oh and about money games, my friend Niels Feijen is in the USA and he likes to play for money. Send him my regards!!

Funny times! :)

Berry,

I absolutely commend you on your work with the youth in your homeland and totally agree that the future of the sport should be nurtured and brought up with as much assistance as possible. Oh and BTW, I have read the entire thread so I do have a tight grasp on the subject at hand.

I have no problem whatsoever with any European players nor would I want to show them disrespect as I have been very impressed with their very fine performances over the past years. How about being honest and coming clean about your true intentions of this thread though Berry. You started out with your proding comments towards the American playing contingent stating basically that they are washed up and non-competitive due to the fact that they haven't succeeded in winning a world championship lately and you've continually made antagonistic comments throughout this entire thread. You've achieved your only goal of provoking the American participants from this forum and it's easy to see that was your only purpose.

Best of luck to you in your work with the youth of Europe. I hope part of your coaching doesn't include your obvious hatred towards Americans though. I'm sure you will continue your happy little "American Hate Parade" until you finally cross the line and get banned though so enjoy. I wholeheartedly support free speech so please enjoy yourself.

Oh yeah...Niels Feijen...I have the utmost respect and admiration for his skills and professionalism, but since he's even an acquiantence of yours I now have absolutely no respect for his character! I will most definately give him your best regards if I happen to bump into him at my local poolhall.

I trained as a United States Marine for 12 years. If you run into any of my training partners over on your side of the pond give them my best too! They probably won't be quite as civil as I am towards you though.

You can go ahead and have your thread back now Berry. Enjoy your hatin'!

Sincerely,
Sam Waltz

P.S.
Regardless of our differences and personal arguments, I'd like to publicly thank you for the offer you made on that Tyler Dean thread Berry. I just saw it and I'm thrilled that he now has a sponsor to continue his dream. The youth is the future and hopefully we will guide them down pathways better than our own...

Thank you for your reply!

One thing I want to make very, very clear is I will never spread hate! provocing, yes! but with great respect and lots of fun.

Oh and had a friend over from US Marine corps who is based in Germany after his stay's in Iraq... So maybe we have mutual friends... funny how small the world is huh!

It is a small world indeed...

Thanks for hosting my brother in arms. Maybe you and I can coexist without gouging each other's eyes out afterall! LOL I'm sure you do much for the game in your community and nation as I try to do as much as I can here in my area. How about you and I just leave it at that? I'm sure we'll butt heads again on here...until then...

LOL I said butt heads...in a sentence!

Fu#$ a tournament. Gotta win so many matches to get the cheese. We can't concentrate that long as Americans. We'd rather you win it, and then pick one of our guys and give it away. Keep a winnin' em.

I just finally repped you again, Sam.

Grab your "Europe Rocks" guy, let him win one, then chase down Johnny, Shane, Dennis, or a host of others.

hu huh huh... butt heads.

But although mutual respect and peace I would like to keep our relationship not too cosy, you Americans still suck at pool lately...:grin:

Mu ha ha ha! sorry for my weird type of humor

Well there you have it a classy posting/remark from the Netherlands youth pool / trainer -

James is a wise player...

Nice one Crawfish and thanks for the rep sir. I guess I'll have to pass out some more before I can hook you up to man. I got the "spread it around" message when I tried!

Your right, you are straight up weird.

The truth is...you are the weak and I am the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Berry, I'm tryin' real hard to be the Shepard...

I hope some day you do come to visit these United States, look me up...I'm in the house with the welcome mat that that says "Badmotherfu**er"!

See ya later Berry. I'm moving on to happier threads now.:D:grin-square::thumbup:

China Open, wow what a great international tournament.

And so it begins again!!

This post shouldn't stir up the sleeping bears, right?

Ah, but then you get into Western European, Central European, and Eastern European entities. I wonder why Eastern and Central European countries need the Western European banks in order to survive. Standing on their own, they're a little weak.

It's the same with pool. If you want to say how great one country is fine, but don't compare Europe with the United States. If that is the case, then I think each American State should have two representatives present at all so-called "world championships." What's good for Europe, a collection of countries, should be good for the U.S., a collection of States.

How true, what a lopsided event that was from a representative point of view.
