Is this a how many jelly beans are in the jar kind of thing? :confused: If so, my guess is 65,535.

All depends on the cue. A broom handle has just one. A plain two piece with no tip can have as few as three (shaft, pin, butt). After that it could have as many as a 1,000 or so if you count all the inlays and such you can throw on a cue.

Just depends on how hard you smack it against the wall when it is the cues fault that you missed the shot

dick, that's the point i was trying to make, you could have hundreds and hundreds of inlays, but what would be the least you could use to build a 2 piece functional cue. i used 4 pieces a tip, tip pad ,shaft. the butt and the pin are one piece of wood. cue plays great, and is now my personal player. hey, a divorce last year, my porsche has been in the shop for a month, and with the economy my jewelry store is ssslllooowww, I'M BORED

hey everyone gets bored. was there any concern with the shaft splitting along the grain. if i had it to do i would personally cut the pin in the shaft.

i like it and think there could be a market for a cue like that. personally i would rather have that then have a mcdermott or lucasi...ect

could be your nitch...lol does it fit in a case?

let us know hot it holds up
 
I've got a cue coming with over 500 parts, but really this cue is a very neat idea.

soaked in superglue

dave, the cue is 59 inches the butt is 28 and the pin sticks out 1 1/2 inches so no problems fitting into a normal cue case. .the shaft splitting is my biggest worry. after the shaft was cut and threaded i soaked the shaft joint [ about 3 inches ] in superglue overnight. i have only used it for about 2 weeks, so far no problems, but time will tell. chuck
