I just thought when a player is ranked as a pro, as she is with the WPBA, the player could not participate in the Open event. Curious on answer, bc not interested enough to look it up.
I don't like the way this thread is proceeding. I hear it every year here in Vegas --- the guy or gal who won shouldn't have been in that division --- and I get more and more tired of hearing it every year ...... and yet, I haven't heard anyone here say it about Cris.
Setting the record straight, Cris is not a WPBA pro. She has played in just two WPBA events, and is not yet exempt into WPBA fields.
Her placement in the open dvision was appropriate, and now that she has accomplished her solid victory at the open level, she will move up in class in next year's event, which is also appropriate.
Let's return to the theme of this thread, which is celebrating the fine achievement of a well liked and highly respected AZB poster.
Well, I thought I would ask since I was not sure. I guess more pros could have played. Apparently congrats are in order! Are you her "keeper" or something? lol

Don't get your panties in a wad. If you look at the WPBA website it is a bit confusing. It looks like she is overall ranked 17, but was apparently the San Diego tourney. I was just curious on the details, not taking away anything from Cristina. A good majority of people voice their opinions on here, which is why it is called a "forum." If you read back, I was asking a question. Chill people!
