The Diamond Professional is built on a timber-strand frame rail design, while the ProAm is built on an enclosed box design with an internal ball return, fastest return in the world I might add:D the only thing the two share is the top rail design and the slates, as far as the rest goes they are as different as apples and oranges. The Professional is more of a home table design, while the ProAm is the ultimate commercial designed pool table.

You can pick up a tournament used 9ft ProAm at the Diamond factory for about $4,000.00...if you're willing to drive and pick the table up at the dock:D
