Update on the Des Moines pool scene

action

"Godzilla" was a no show tonight. We had agreed to play on Tuesday night. Oh well.

I did hear about some action brewing. John M. is planning to play Daniel an ahead set for $1000 on a big table. I don't know when though.

Hmmm...Phil called me Saturday and informed me he was taking a little break from pool right now. He has his reasons I won't share. He will still be around sometimes but not as much as before(for a while). I think that's a pretty good matchup. I watched both of you guys win 4 and 5 games in a row on each other so I wonder what a good set for you guys would be. 5 ahead might not be the way to go just cuz that's a fairly normal swing for the way you guys run against each other.

John M. Vs. Daniel...all I have to really say about that is why? I can't even imagine how that even got started. I am curious though. Who does everyone like there? If it's even I think Daniel plays better but John is action trained right now. Opinions???

John vs Daniel ... Well he cant beat me even, plus he owes me $200.
 
Whats up fellas, just got back to work from a long weekend in Vegas at the VNEA nationals....Everything went pretty good, Laura (wife) won the open 8-ball for a cool $2800 and finished 9-12th in the 9-ball ($100). I also fininshed 9-12th in the 9-ball ($500) and 25-32nd in 8-ball ($525), and we finished 3rd in the Scotch-doubles ($475). So all in all I pretty happy with our trip.

Yeah I think Daniel plays at least as good as you, maybe a little better on the big table. I'm infuriated at this moment but I think Daniel has the nuts.

Congrats Scott, its a good thing Laura plays well enough to make some expense money :)
 
I'm out of the loop right now, are Shane and Scott still playing in 2 months? If so I need some info and are they gonna sell off prime seating for the match? Are they modifying a table? RKC is coming to my house in a few weeks, we can certainly get him to stop by the pool hall and tighten up a barbox for the match. How bout it?

Anyone else that you remember from Iowa have decent finishes?
