thats almost wat im looking for awsome case cap hook

Thanks, I went with the Tube style and decided to make it plain with no name on it, the case is solid and very high quality.

John is super nice to deal with, he can make you whatever you want.

i did see all those great pics but no price was with them , and nittany cases seem very affordable , i would like to stay in the $400 under or a bit over range

JB MAKES A GREAT CASE, BUT IMO IF YOU ARE GONNA SPEND 4 BILLS ON A CASE, IT SHOULD BE CUSTOM. I WOULDN'T WANT A CASE THAT LOOKS LIKE 200 OTHERS.

CONTACT BRIAN FROM NITTANY LEATHER AND SEE WHAT OPTIONS HE CAN GIVE YOU IN YOUR PRICE RANGE.

well i wonder who can have it made faster and who has better waranty?

faster? With custom that shouldn't be the biggest concern.

As far as warranty, i'm sure they'll both stand behind what they build, but remember jb is avoerseas and the case would have to be shipped to him.

If you were going to buy a true jb custom, than my opinion might be different.

True custom starts at $400 for JB cases. For that amount you can have a case with any pocket sizes, any pocket shapes, any size case you want at no extra charge, you can have any handle style anywhere you want it, you can have the strap or straps anywhere you want them.

For example: This case is all customer specified for $400

And this one had some extra special work in it that raised the price a little bit to $500

You can have a zipper top, a flip top, whatever closure you want including custom made closures that only we do - called "puzzle latches(tm)".

You can have any one of three interior styles for the hard cases, the UltraPad(tm) using lots of padding to cushion the cue in a lot of padding and fabric, the OrganicRebound(tm) where the cue springs up when the case is opened for easy access, or the SecureTube(tm) system where we bring the butt tubes all the way to the top for more security but still maintain easy access to the cues.

The only thing you CANNOT have is your case in a few weeks if you order it from us directly. This is because we are covered in orders for at least 16 weeks out.

BUT if you go through IndyQ shop to place your order THEN you can have your case much earlier.

This is because IndyQ shop has many standing orders for stock cases that Roy at Indy cue will replace with custom orders. He has a calendar of when his cases should start and can simply cancel a standing order for a case to built on speculation and will substitute your order for that one. We have had several customers who have taken advantage of this with excellent results for all concerned.

Regarding the J.Flowers series and customization. It is what I call a semi-custom case.

With the 2x4 J.Flowers you can have all of these things for $325 customized to your liking at no extra charge,

You can choose any color or color combination you like and any normal leather type.
You can choose between two tooling styles or choose none or any combination thereof.
You get two handles and a strap that you can choose the placement of at no extra charge.
You get two pockets at no extra charge and can have those at any length and height you want.
You can choose between three interior styles at no extra charge.
You can choose to have the case made with rivets, lacing, or sewn up the back at no extra charge.

Things that are charged extra for are names to be tooled - $25 for names on the front or on the pad - all custom carved not stamped. $50 for names on the back. No per letter charge - flat fee and a virtually unlimited choice of fonts from www.dafont.com

This name was done for just a $50 extra fee.

I would also HIGHLY recommend Brian Bonner's work. I don't know what his turnaround time is but he builds a SOLID case that I'd be proud to own. We have talked shop a few times and I am confident that Brian builds cases that satisfy my nitpickiness and anal retentive side when it comes to cue protection.

One thing is certain, these days there is no excuse for getting a crappy case. There has never been more choice in cue cases that I have seen in my 18 years as a casemaker.

2x4

I have been shopping around for a new 2x4 (currently using a Whitten) and I tried contacting Brian with Nittany Leather through his website contact info but never got a reply.
