I've used Master Chalk my whole life and have heard people talk badly about it.
What is the best chalk on the market now? Opinions please. Best chalk in the past???
Thanks.

Best Chalk

Blue Diamond Chalk is the best chalk. At 3.50 a cube it's not cheap but worth it.

Blue Diamond

I bought some Blue Diamond chalk from Darwin and so far I like it. It seems to last a little longer than the Masters. Definitely doesn't get on my hands and cue as much. While I haven't quite decided if its worth the extra cash I do like it enough to say if the price wasn't an issue I would use it exclusively.

oops... I just saw that they're out of stock. I'm sure you can buy some blue diamond from someone here.

I had to laugh when I went to that link. They are out of stock on the 2 packs but they have the cases in stock. Why don't they just crack open a case? :grin-square:

Where do you get it for 3.50?

Hey drummer boy, what up? I bought a few boxes from these guys at the BCA Nationals:

Frank's Center Inc.

frankscenteinc.com

800-666-9190

They were very nice people manning their booth. They told me to call the 800 number because the website only gives you the shipping charge for a full case. They said if you order by phone only one or a few boxes they can send it cheaper via USPS. I thought I paid $6.50 for a box of 2 pieces at their booth although I see it says $7.50 on their website.

Hope this helps.

That's interesting. I've never heard of anyone bashing Master Chalk? I have no possible idea why they would. Maybe I'm old school, but Master Chalk hasn't ever done me wrong.

Grrrrrr.....I think people are just trying to cash in on new equipment. Especially these new age tips and shafts. Nothing wrong with a triangle tip and good ol' master chalk. I've tried the new age layered tips and did nothing but miscue with them. Oh, and these "no-deflection" predator ob-1, ob-46...whuteva shafts. Don't believe the hype.

Mainly practice for a couple of hours a few days a week with some matches against the local guys sprinkled in. No tournaments though. To much going on around the house to take the time to play in a tournament.

I haven't been up your way yet on business, but you are on my radar when I do make it to your area.;)

I like the Masters but I don't love it. It's doesn't stick to the tip as much as I remember. Just wanted to try something new and the reviews on BD were stellar.

Ok, sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to tell you what to do. I've never been a fan of reviews. Hope it works for you. Just remember, master chalk will forgive you and take you back if the other one doesn't work out.
