U.S. rooms with snooker tables (as of May 2009)

Las Vegas Cue Club in Vegas has a 6 x 12. Saw some use during the ACS Can-Am Challenge event. Normally everyone plays Golf on it.

Thanks, Lyn, I have them on my list. Since folks play Golf does the table have fast cloth, or does it have the napped snooker cloth?

Cue - T's in Vegas also has a 6 x 12. Haven't looked at it up close recently. From the conditions of the other tables, my guess is it isn't very good.

Do you mean Cue-D's? I can give them a call.

Cue-D's
3400 S Jones Blvd
Las Vegas, NV 89146
(702) 252-8880

The Elk's Lodge in Reno may still have a snooker table, but I've yet to actually reach someone by phone.

FYI, Parlor in Bellevue WA took down their 6x12 Gold Crown IV so that they could make room for crappy stand up comedy

The world doesn't need another comedy club.

I have four listings in Washington:

Jillian's, Seattle (one, possibly 6 x 12
East Lake Zoo Tavern, Seattle (one, probably 5 x 10)
Olympic Club Hotel, Centralia (one 5 x 10)
The Rialto Poolroom, Portland (one 5 x 10)

Do you know of others? Or could you confirm the table sizes? Quite often when I call a pool room the person who picks up the phone doesn't know what size the table is.

I have 14 listings for Oregon. Not too shabby.

Shooters (Jonesboro, AR) has one snooker table. 870-931-7529

Thanks, I'll give them a call.

Why not post up the list or a link to it? That way we can all let you know if there are any errors or omissions that we may know about in our own areas.

I'm going to be putting the full national list online soon. There'll be a national Google Maps page, and the list will be available in a variety of formats for anyone to download--plain text, PDF, etc.

Once the list is online I'm expecting to get reports of yet more tables. I'm looking forward to that.

Arizona 3 5' x 10''s where I live, BAD NEWS is MEMBERS ONLY. All THREE to be Recovered in August.

I'd be interested to know where those tables are. The national list currently includes Elks Lodges, inns, bed & breakfasts, a sports club or two, and other sites (incl. one private home) that require membership, a booking for an overnight stay, or some other payment beyond table time.

For private homes the only information given would be the town (or closest large city), state, and an email address or forum username. Something like this:

Rethunk (contact via forums.azbilliards.com)
Boston area
Massachusetts

Got your message at The Snooker Forum. Yeah, I have Las Vegas Cue Club on my list. Your place would be the second listing for Las Vegas.

I'll let you know if I'm in Vegas. Until then maybe the list will help steer some folks your way.

So far, what I've personally experienced after visiting and playing at several billiard halls in Southern California, is that the Embassy Billiards would be rated top for snooker on 6x12s, Lakewood Family Billiard Center on 5x10s, and Hard Times (Bellflower), Dave & Busters (Orange), Hot Shots, Danny K's (Orange) and College Campus Billiards (Cyperss) from in/around Anaheim area to be the closest and best billiard parlors. My favorites to hang around currently are Lakewood Family Billiards Center for snooker, and Hot Shots & Hard Times for pool (8 and 9 ball). Hot Shots is only 5 minutes from my place (Anaheim/Stanton/Cyress areas), great service and well maintained, good overall players, excellent family management, decent tables and lots of tournaments, looking from nearest to residence.

A poolhall I recently started going to in MD has a 6x12' in the back. Not sure if it is on the list as I can't find a link

When did Danny K's get a snooker table? I also didn't know that any Dave & Busters had one.

Danny K's doesn't have a snooker table but is considered among the well known halls due to good shooters playing there; so I heard. Dave & Busters has one 5x10 snooker table but bad tight pockets.

The cue ball in salem oregon has 2 snooker tables.

Thanks! I didn't have any listings for Salem.

Not including that room, I have 14 listings for Oregon, with a roughly even split between 10' and 12' tables. Lucky Oregonians.

Thanks, Donovan, I have those in my list, but as it happened I needed confirmation of the 10' table at Al's. I knew about the 12' but wasn't certain about the 10' table.

Here's the other listing I've confirmed for Minnesota:

Band Box Recreation (one 5 x 10)

I can only confirm the one at Jillian's which is a 6x12 Riley with an extremely fast cloth ( no nap ). Unfortunately, Jillian's is going away so that Paul Allen can build a park near the water. I have heard that will be within this year. I will soon be Snookerless in Seattle
