Hey guys,
Just showing off my latest pick ;)
A Richard Chudy, 4 point, 4 veneer, cocobolo points.
I just installed the kamui mediums on this baby and it is an awesome player :thumbup:

Nice cue there Tony! I'm getting a Olney with the G-10 with sleeved stainless steel joint collar just like on this cue. Hows the hit?

It's not about the pin, it is about the taper on the shafts as well ;) Not over stiff and super, super solid hit. Very, very good player!

and says they are really nice cues,
Also Mike Gartland said about the ame, an RC3 is on of the best playing cues He has used!

I had the luck to get a Chudy app. 3 months ago, and you are completely right, the hit is fantastic. :rolleyes:
It is such a super solid hit and like you said not to stiff - an awesome player. Congrats on your nice cue :thumbup:

Great looking cue. I have one on order from Mr. Chudy myself, ebony with ivory joint and butt cap, with ring tail lizord wrap.

Please tell me more regarding the Kamui (mediums) tips. Thanks

Beautiful Chudy you picked up. Very traditional design and I bet that steel joint/G10 combo plays great! Can't wait to see it in person. :smile::smile:

Very nice.
Chudy had a hip replacement so he is going to be out for a while.
The kamui mediums are the perfect tip for this cue.. Either blacks or normal they are awesome... For some reason I like more the regular kamui mediums on this cue :)

You should get one on your collection, you will not be disappointed. I know my friend Doug (DWBOD) had a snakewood Chudy, very similar to the one that Allen Hopkins plays with at an awesome price ;)

Nice cue. I've heard that Chudy does an awesome linen wrap. Does it feel any different than any other cue?

Funny you are saying that. It is by far the best linen wrapped cue I ever owned, but, but I am changing it to a leather wrap, not made my mind which one. :rolleyes:
 
Nice pick up Tony, I have had a few RC3s and they were all great cues. Thanks for sharing.

I forgot to ask this earlier. In the pictures the ferrules look shorter than normal. Is this the case, or is it just the angle of the camera shot?

Man, you have hawk eyes ;)
The newer Chudy's have the ferrules around 0.90". I like it :)
