Can someone ID this wood?

As the title of the thread says, can someone please identify the type of wood on this cue where Efren is gripping? I am absolutely no expert on this topic, so much thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out :thumbup:

I'd gues cocobolo. SOmetimes it is fiery red. I believe it is the Judd he used/ uses. If so, you bet it is a nice piece of wood, not what you get from every maker. Efren will win with a putter.

I see theat the shaft no matchie. Almost interesting.

Cocobolo indeed.
Notice the black collar on the shaft while the butt has tan phenolic collar.
I believe that cue now belongs to ex-bballer Glen Capacio.

That's right... Basketball Coach Glen Capacio mentioned it on a Filipino Pool Forum that he has this cue now from his Kumpareng Efren. :thumbup:
