laminated shafts?

If you are looking for the flat laminated kind I have them in stock in various stages of turning all the way to final sanding size which is 13.25 to 13.5 mm.

Although I got some good information through PM's I wanted to ask a general question to the forum. Are there any special ways you deal with turning the laminated shafts? Do they require sealing or any special treatments when finished?

they dont turn quit as smooth as one piece shafts i feel there is more finish sanding required because there are differant grains so each section sands a little differant i like the radial verses the flat lam

I sand down to 400 grit and apply 2 coats of CA glue, sand again to 400 grit and then treat same as a standard maple shaft--they come out as slick as snot.
