Congratulations to the 3 boys from Iowa that won the Jr. National Championship, 14-17 yr old age group team event in Lincoln, NE.

One of my good friends son was on this team. :thumbup:

I haven't met you yet but I've met and played with Blake a couple of times in the last couple of years. Unfortunately I was the one that knocked Blake out of the 8-ball singles @ the ISPA in '08. That kids got real potential and from what I hear you do too. Great job to all of you. :thumbup:
 
OK, Spike spill the beans. We want details, my man...details! My cell quit going off so I thought the lack of texts meant you (and the team) were out. I told you it was your time to shine...imagine if you hadn't pulled an all-nighter before the 1st day of the tourney!

Just so everyone knows, Spike jumps in our weekly 9B ring game every once in a while...the one that guys like Lil Joe Villalpando play in. Spike holds his own at the ripe old age of 16!
 
The Iowa boys played very well. My son was on the team that finished 2nd. Congratulations to all of you and hope to see you next year again.
