where you guys been????????
lets see some posts ...pictures ....anything ,lee

also dicky neighbors sorry

I'll have some finished cues to post next week. Not posting much unless it's finished. I've been inlaying the same cue for over a week. Just about finished with it.

I believe it has something to do with the quality of the place going to hell. Like Zinzola getting grilled relentlessly for some bad inlays, from people that can't glue two pieces of wood together. The others are probably like me and just staying away or lurking only. There is zero moderation here now. When is the last time you seen Mr. Wilson?

Just so you guys remember that there are a lot of us still here that are capable of appreciating what you do, understanding the difficulty involved in it, and keeping our traps shut when something simply isn't our cup of tea...

Well, I was going to post something regarding the Tikkler Cue when I post pictures next week, but I'll go ahead and say it now.

I'm almost finished with the original being corrected and another very similar cue. In fixing the original, I realize, I got off pretty easy in that thread. There wasn't an inlay in that cue that was any good. They were all shit (although back then, I thought they were fine). At this point, every single inlay has been replaced as well as the rings and I think the cue looks good. I will post photos of the two cues next week when they are sprayed and wrapped. I still have a little more to do on both. Last night, I spent about 5 hours cutting out tiffany diamonds that were about .125" tall and are boarded in .004" silver. I'm still not sure if I'm going to use them and I have more to cut out if I do. Both cues will have over 400 inlays when done.

Here's a pic for you lee of one that's almost done too. It's in the middle of spraying at the moment, so there may be some low spots in the finish.

Ralph - Yours will be next week or the week after. I have a few including yours that I'm behind on.

I had some medical issues and couldn't work for 5 weeks. The doctor had my eyes dilated the entire time and I couldn't see well enough to work or get on the computer. It was hell.

Now that I'm back to work I need to get caught up. Customers are waiting for cues that I should have delivered weeks ago and the next cues on my list are weeks behind schedule. The computer isn't priority at this time.

If you have a cue on order and haven't heard from me your cue should still be delivered on time. With a little overtime I'm guessing about 8 weeks to get back on schedule. The cues scheduled for delivery after that should be on time (late September).

I want to say thanks for the patience and help from my customers.

I need to give some good rep to a few people.
1proscoe, dmgwalsh, deanoc, and your friend Ron that worked your booth in VF. I can't remember Ron's last name and I'd like to post it if anybody knows.
I hope I didn't forget anybody. Call or PM me if I did.

I couldn't have made it through this without your help. They all offered or sent money on cues I couldn't finish for weeks.

5 weeks is a long time, the bills didn't stop when I did. LOL.

I can't thank you enough.

its pittsburgh ron a good friend for many years glad your feeling better
