Here are four of my oldest Hueblers. One is pre vertical. Two are very rare with Hoppe rings and no bumpers.
Trying to post pics. If they do not show up I will add in a minute.

Nice

The third cue from the left is stunning. I really like Hueblers, especially the older no-name ones. The best part is how nice they play. Great cues, thanks for sharing.

Inserts?

All four of the pictures I listed have nylon inserts. My two best playing cues of many are the ebony Huebler (Third from the left) and my Cochran cue. Before finding the Ebony Huebler I played with a 35 year old Palmer.
I own many Custom and production Hueblers and they do not all feel and play alike. The older cues are my preference for playing. The Customs are for investment purposes and when the time is right, will be for sale.

Do any of the cue's joints and/or shaft tenons look like this?

This cue's shaft has a nylon thread insert, brass joint collar .828" and stainless steel 5/16" x 18 pin.

Huebler Joint

Huebler never made a piloted joint that I have seen or heard of. All mine are flat faced, with the nylon insert. I have old cues with joints like yours, but I believe all have brass inserts. I would be interested to know who made the piloted joint with a nylon insert. Thanks.

I would also like to know who made it.

Don't want to highjack your thread so I posted the cue in a seperate thread - http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?p=1925152#post1925152
