For Sale: My Burton Spain GINACUE

Where is Joe with the over/under?????/
Russ,

Funny you should ask, I just had this conversation with Kevin when he told me he was putting the cue on eBay.

I'll say, I wish I was a little "flusher", I'd love to own this cue myself. It's one of my absolute favorite Gina's ever, both for it's incredibly "classic" design and it's collectability...oh yeah, and it hits great, like virtually all Gina's, and I tend to prefer the stainless jointed Gina's as you know.

As you recall I paid around 8K for my "Blue Gina" and I'd rather own this one long term. I'm not saying I think it will bring 8K but I think in terms of collectability this cue is really something special.

Sorry for the long ramble but I really am a HUGE fan of this cue so to (finally) answer your question I'd put the over/under (and the cash if I had it) at 5K.

I miss ya man, hope to see you soon,

Joe

Hi Joe,

You sir, are correct. And, I would also love to own this cue!!

That cue is fantastic and I think that I'll take the over on this one, but not by much.

Hope you're well and if you're ever up my way, let me know and we can play some straight pool!

Russ.....

Yup, I have to collect sales tax for residents of California. I'm glad you caught that before you bid but I'm wondering why you didn't bid $2500?

Thanks

Kevin

I know it will sell over $2500...I would guess if you have the right buyers..there will be a bidding war. I will wait/watch till the last day.

Yeah, I think 5 months is a record. It took a world-beater cue to stay this long!

The Snakewood Gina I just picked up is my new lifetime player. I'll never sell that cue.

Thanks

I won't bother with the over/under on THIS claim. Even though you did beat me with it (hill/hill, 3rd set...I hadn't slept in 3 days, I had a cold, my dog ate my homework, etc), I think when you say "lifetime" player, you are refering to the lifetime of the cue AS your player, not your lifetime....:)

I'm on fire with my new Gina lifetime player. Ernie is sad because I'll never have to buy another cue from him. Maybe the cue will need a refinish or something 10 years from now so Ernie was something to look forward to.

I have the belt. I can't believe I lost that thread where someone made me a cool Heavyweight Championship Belt (with flashing lights). I think it was for Gus selling. I think I have the Gus Selling eBay Belt. If I could find the thread I'd flash it here.

24 Hour Warning

The auction ends in a little less than a day.

All bids in?

Thanks

Kevin

Right Now That Cue is a Deal

Just under 4K bid with 4 hours to go. If the bidding is done now, somebody is getting (IMO) a screaming deal.

Thanks

Kevin

Last Chance At Romance

This auction ends in less than 1 hour and at slightly more than $4K bid presents what I think is a bargain collectible/player pool cue.

All bids in?

All through?

Thanks

Kevin
