Long overdue

I dont think Taxi is going to understand, he thinks Mr. Vic is a better than all pool players because of the money he made while he was in football. Oh, thats right, has he been able to get back in yet?

Yes, us lowlife non real sport pool players only bet on the roll of the balls, not cool stuff like watching animals tear each other apart. Wow I bet a lot of pro pool players really long to be in that fraternity

I think you misunderstood the sarcasm in Woody's post.

To Charlie Williams, Dragon Promotions and whomever else I may have offended:

I hereby publicly and sincerely apologize to Charlie Williams, Dragon Promotions and any sponsors I may have offended. I am also sorry for any bad things I've said about the abovementioned.
I am 100% wrong and there is no excuse for my behavior. Everyone in the billiard community has my word that this type of behavior will never happen again.
I am grateful to Charlie and Dragon Promotions for this second opportunity.
Respectfully,

Grady Mathews

What a joke, I guess he'll beg his way into world pool masters in vegas next year.

I didn't know you knew all walks of life.I commented on the part that you mentioned football. You can make your comments but I can't make mine.Greedy and stupid, you do deserve the good parking!

I do know all walks of life and a lot of those have come from the pool world. I know a couple of doctors, lawyers, and authors, to name a few and unfortunately even some like yourself.

I have no problem with people stating their opinions, thats what makes this a forum. My problem was with the execution of your comments. There's a respectful, classy, mature way to state your opinion and then theres a very uncalled for rudeness, name calling, classless way that you did it.

Oh I got Woody's post dead on and Im with him. That wasn't directed at Woody, not at all
LOL, I misunderstood. :embarrassed2: :p

If these people are right about you being invited after all you've said in the past....I'm calling "sellout", no different than CW.

If I'm wrong, and you didn't get invited, I apologize.

Either way, stick to your guns, man!

here we go

If you think pool is even in the same realm as football hockey tennis golf boxing etc than this I feel bad debating this with the mentally weak.I ask again how many pool players made a million this year or last? How many in a multisport magazine not just a billiard magazine or better yet how many inductees in any type of sports hall of fame?C'mon lets keep it real.

The Mentally Weak Perspective.

A sport is a sport. It's not defined by paycheck, mag layouts or endorsement deals. It's where competitors compete at the top of their field. That's pretty much it.

Excuse me while I genuflect.

OMG. At first I just thought you were a rude person. Now I know that its a simple case of "you're not very bright, are you". Best of luck in this argument that you're going to be holding with yourself. I've got a "great parking spot" calling my name at the local watering hole.:cool:

If you don't see a difference between a real pro sport like football and pool then you deserve the best parking in the world because you must be retarded.Tell me how many pool players have made a million dollars this year? Can't compare real sports and pool, just not the same grade of people.

Sure, REAL SPORTS PEOPLE : Pete Rose, Michael Vick, Mike Tyson, Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa,
Mark Macguire, Chris Henry, Manny Ramirez, Pacman Jones, Stanly Roberts,
Rafel Palmerio, Plaxio Burris, Brandon Marshall, Donte Stallworth, and the list could go on and on and on. But like you said, Not the same grade of people as pool players. I'll take my parking spot now. Keep driving.

It does

All the things you said that doesn't define a sport does.Big paychecks endorsements mean success in that sport and mean there's a demand to watch it by the public. To find large companys to endorse pool is like pulling teeth.

going going gone

If they did drug testing in pool the only people in the us open would be the card girl and maybe the janitor:thumbup:
