LOL. I was in there Saturday night and totally forgot. On my way out on Sunday, I stopped by and luckily there was someone there to take my entry!damn - now why didn't I think of that?! Ugh.
Hey now Ray...I think both events are trememdous and I'm saddened there is a conflict. I don't think anyone will at a loss regardless of which tourney they play in...ah...cloning, yes that will workI've been trying to figure out how to human clone for the past 10 months could use an extra pair of hands.

The Texas Open is the longest running 9Ball tournament in the US. and a coveted Title.
I think the players that are planning on playing in it should be aware, that If they contribute to or win a qualifier that the NCS Event is the same weekend as the Texas Open.
Ray
I think either tournament would be an honor to play in. Lots of opportunities to play across the country this particular weekend (not just these two tourneys).
Ray, we going to the Rice Bowl? Fire Bowl? China Bowl? wth is it called? lol
I spoke to Kevin the other day about the heat last year and he said theyare bringing in extra mobile AC units. (I'm sure there's a more techincal name for them but I don't know it). So the AC is fixed and they are bringing in more so it won't break again.
i'm assuming the tournament is starting friday morning and not saturday morning, going by the dates. is this correct ?
Actually, I'm 99.99% sure it starts on Saturday morning. Last year it started on Saturday and ran through Monday night (early Tuesday morning actually).
So maybe the dates should actually read:
Saturday, September 5, 2009 - Monday, September 7
This gives three full days for the tournament to run.
You're right Ray! I just remember that play doesn't actually start until Saturday. Now what time does it start on Friday night?Nope. It starts Friday evening the 4th. Same as every year. we will go over the rules, answer questions and have the advanced players meeting. I wish they would go ahead and kick off a round too!!!
