Gum residue on Case?

Hi,

Could someone advise me what is the best way to remove gum residue left on a leather case from airline stickers.

Baby oil works fine to remove the adhesive. Try it on a small spot first to make sure it doesn't stain your leather

Hey Monto- I can get WD40 in Tesco/Home Pro on Samui- you can get it for sure in Bangkok (it's usually in the tool or cleaning chemicals section).

Goo Gone is the answer. You can buy it surely in Bangkok. Any Tesco, Home Depot and Ace Hardware type store will have it. It's petroleum and evaporates quickly.

When I had a taxi on the road I dealt with removing large decals from the doors of cars. Goo Gone doesn't work nearly half as good as WD.

Hi Friends,

I just cleaned my case with the baby oil. I got the residue almost85%.I might have to clean once more tommrow.
Plus point is case is shining and smells really well:thumbup:

I will try and get wd 40 from lotus.
