Got a PM about 10 Days ago after this Member-gh8st read the Thread I stared about "Anyone have WARPED Pool Cues?".

So the PM asks if they could send me a Cue for the Local Boy & Girls Club, I say sure, and sure enough the Cue arrives yesterday, so last night I take it and two other Cues donated by a couple of local oldies, plus some Pool Chalk over to the Local Club Boy & Girls Club, and a Picture (<<<---Click Here!) can sometime tell a story better sometime than a 1,000 words.

I think it is kind of cool, Member gh8st could put a smile on a kids face :) from over 2500 miles away, gh8st IMHO deserves many GRENNIES, and some :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
 
That is really cool.
I know that several AZ'ers are involved with Boy's & Girls Club around the country and is great to see any contribution so these kids stay off the streets.
 
Honestly theses kids are the future of Pool. If they leave the Boys & Girls Club with a positive experence, maybe they will play Pool for 50+ years because of the positive experence.

The Cue the Member sent, (an Omega Southwest Style) will be used by the TEENS in the Club, and the kids who got to play with it first I am sure will see it is well taken care of.
 
The Cowboy is doing a great service by helping these kids and inspiring others on the Forum to follow in his footsteps. Thanks to gh8st for his contribution.

That is a great thing to be doing. I know that those people will have something good to help through the rest of their lives.

Well I have had several PM asking what the Boy & Girls Club could use.

*House Cues that still have tips, warped or not

*Cues that still have tips, warped or not

*Pool Chalk, any Color.

*Bridge Heads

*Any Pool Ball sets, old beat up Cue Balls, or Partial Sets as long as they still roll

*Basic Pool Instruction VHS Tapes, or DVD's

*Tip tools, Tip Tappers,

*Cue Tip Repair Kits, you bought em and now let a Pro Do it.

Well maybe it is a way for me to give back to what I knew as the Boys Club when I was a kid, that is now called the Boys & Girls Club. Lots of great memories from the Old Boys Club in Miami!

Plus if the kids are at the Boys, and Girls Clubs, they may not be doing Graffitti, Stealing Hubs Caps, Building Zip Guns, etc......:smile:

Cues for the cowboy

Cowboy you are doing all the work, it was your idea so kuddos to you. All I did was pack a cue and go to the post office.

I have learned a lot from all the free info posted here on the forum and I am just happy to be able to give back in some way.

I can accomplish very little with out the help of others, and the others provide the FUEL to make the Train Run, I am only the Engineer.:smile:
