Very nice cue, I really like Eric's work, he is on my list of desirable cues that I cant afford right now. I would say for living cuemakers TAD, Tascarella, SugarTree, BCM, and Ginacue are the ones I really look to own down the road. :smile:

Kam, the cue is gorgeous and I even posted in that thread about how nuts I am about it but at the moment funds are very tight, just had my new daughter so she is taking all my fun money for awhile.

Another homerun by Eric Crisp. The woods are unique and the hit will be all Sugartree, and that means awesome. The pics show what appears to be a black layer on the joint of the forearm. Is this something new??.

The black edge is phenolic. The fossil ivory is sleeved over the phenolic. It looks like 2500 year old ivory but has the strength, stability & playability of phenolic. It's a virtual 360 degree veneer. The purpose of leaving the phenolic lip is to protect the ivory from damage. Once screwed together, it doesn't show evident anymore.
