I had a couple of people contact me thinking I am the Vinny that Bob is talking about. Just to clear it up, this deal has nothing to do with me. Bob, Chenz is a good guy and I am sure he will resolve this for you. And if you get tired of that hoppe, let me know.

I think Vinny has gotten caught up in the middle of a situation where he was just trying to help out a friend. He was not going to make a red cent in this deal. I've been in situations myself where as the third innocent party, I got involved and it turns bad. That's why I really try and watch what I get into the middle of. Sometimes you just can't win.
Everbody give Vinny a chance until Barry can shed light on the situation.

This is why I no longer do consignments. You get caught in the middle of something that you had little or no control over. It is even worse when you are just helping out a friend and things go bad.

As someone who was on the bad side of someone selling his "friends" items, I know Bob's pain. However that doesn't excuse anyone or leave them off the hook. You still need to reply promptly and take care of it. I am sure Bob didn't waste time sending the money out and he should not be delayed in restitution. I like Vinny, he is a good guy, however what's right is right.

although im not one of the privelaged to own a 8k cue , i think its pretty simple....describe the cue the way you see it, i always try to overdescribe a cue im selling that way the buyer is pleased! i sell cars worth 2- 5 times the amounts were talking here online and all my customers are overly happy when they get em shipped 100% to this day! WITHOUT EVEN SEEING THEM UNTIL AFTER THEY HAVE PAID!

Don't disagree with anything you have said. I think there will be closure. It just ain't gonna be in 5 minutes from now. Again, this is why I am careful to volunteer help move a cue. Money has broken up more than one good friendship.

Barry Szam hoppe cue being sent out today by Dennis
Just spoke to Dennis Searing. He opened the packing tube that i sent him as we spoke. He said that this is the butt and shafts that were originally sent to him by Chris Robinson and later shipped to me. I still have the Searing shafts here in Maryland. Dennis is sending the butt and shafts to Barry Szamboti to verify if the shafts are or are not his made originally or later for this cue. If not, he will need the butt in order to make two new correct shafts.Please do not call Barry to ask questions concerning THIS CUE. He needs some quiet time after the passing of his friend Art., Bob

Barry called today to give me the verdict on the shafts. They are not for the Szam hoppe cue. He is making me two new shafts that are correct for the cue. I am paying Barry for his work. Vinny and i have come to a mutual agreement and we are both satisfied., Bob

p.s. The refund offer was made immediatly after Doug was told by Barry that the cue is a Gus. I wonder who would put up the money for the refund that Vinny offered, Duuuuuuuuhg????
Well, Vinny and i had come to agreement that he would reimburse me for the cost of tne shafts $550.00+$50.00 shipping and insurance. He said it could take until the end of October to pay me. Today after several people have admittedly contacted him about what he was going to do with the cue(my cue) if he could get it back. Today he said he would give me a full refund or if i keep the cue as was agreed he will not give me anything to compensate for the oddball shafts. You figure it out, first he couldn't come up with $600.00 for a month. Now he can come up with $6,200.00+$700.00 for Barry's shafts and authentication of the cue. A buyer now maybe??? Well Vinny, thanks for backing out of our agreement which i have p.m.'s to prove.
