just like the title says. Since this is a buyers market right now, lets start with what I am looking for.

I really want a box veneer Runde with 8 points, ivory joint, ivory ferrulles, 2 shafts. Not to be picky!

I just had a deal fall through because of a promise that was made to another person before our deal was made. So now I have some cheddar burning a hole in my pocket.

Feel free to send me any offers of other box veneer cues besides Runde or something similar.

Also, any Fancy Rundes I would be interested in too!

I'm sure there's something out there. Give it a few days and the right person will come along and gladly take your money.

Not exactly what your asking for.

I have a Runde with only a couple hours of play, but... I'm not sure if I want to sell it right now, but since I don't play with it, I don't see myself keeping it and becoming a cue collector.

Not really for sale, but if the money is right, it is.

nice cue. I seen it when it was on ebay and contemplated on bidding on it but decided i wanted something a bit different. If I already had my "perfect" Runde and wanted another to go along with with it, I definately would consider yours.

STILL LOOKING!!!!

If I had one, I might sell it to you, or maybe not....I just don't know....:thud:lol

Good luck with your quest Brad!!!

SOMEONE SELL THIS MAN A CUE!!!!

I bid on a Runde a few days before I won this one, and the other Runde had a lot of work in it, I regretted not winning the other Runde, so I made sure I didn't let this one pass me up. The other Runde went for more than $500 more than what I paid though.

yeah, I seen that one and wish I would have got that one. now that i have some extra cash and ready to pull the trigger, i can't find one

Cash!!!!! Burning!!!!!!!!! Hole!!!!!!!! In!!!!!!!! Pocket!!!!!!!!

still looking for something to catch my eye!

There is another Runde that just showed up on Ebay, but it's not what you wanted. And there is also the Runde sneaky Pete too.

I'm thinking the one that got you going was Cornerstone's which he sold on eBay:

I like that cue. While I do like the use of mother-of-pearl in cues, to my eye the chunks of it in that stick are too large, or maybe I'd like them if they were something other than ovals.

Ernie has made a variation of that 8 point high low, veneered window cue since the early 1960s. I'm selling his current rendition right now on eBay. In case you haven't seen it:

Good luck in your search.

Kevin

Thanks Kevin.

yeah, I would have loved to be able to pick that Runde up.

Didn't you have another one just like this Gina a week or two ago? or is this the same one?
I really like your Gina. I'm guessing that it will go outside my comfortzone on spending for a cue though but who knows!!!!

You can never tell what's going to happen at auction. If you have a number that will work for you that is higher than the current bid I invite you to get it in and I wish you the best. Its the same cue I auctioned off 2 weeks ago, the reason is in my 2nd post in this thread:

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?p=2042247&posted=1#post2042247

I actually thought about posting this cue to you the first time I saw your thread because it is really a great fit for what you are looking for but held off because I had guessed the Runde you were describing would be about a $1500 stick.

Just as an aside. Monte (atthecat) had a Schon with a single veneer box in the butt and that inlay was neither stacked nor mitered, but rather the entire piece was cut out an placed as an intact window. I was squinting at the Runde from Cornerstone to see if it looked that way, but that does look mitered.

Thanks

Kevin

still looking for fancy runde

if you know someone looking to sell their Runde, have them get ahold of me.

I sent pm to barryc and a few others on AZB that use to have a few. No reply yet from anyone.

STILL LOOKING!

I'll give Barry a call and tell him. He does not get on that often anymore.
