Any jamie groupies know if he's played since the harriman match?
Here's hoping for a good Iowa Showing... Sounded like a pretty tough field. Did any QC reps make it there??
Hargens I think got 5/6th. Fenton maybe 9-12.
Joey Gray won the winners side, Barracks waiting for winner of lutman/gabriel match.
Just made it home...good showing from Scott this weekend, a roll or two different Joey Gray's ass was toast.
As I understand it some folks are upset with me from some of my chat comments this weekend. If they were pool related, I can care less. I feel like I made a personal comment and I feel bad about it, wasn't my place to comment and I agree with that 100%. I've apologized to the individual by text and will also to his face. I won't have a pissing match about it so I'll take full responsibility.
Good night!
You are right.
Joey won the whole thing.
agree w/ the rolls. But Scott missed two shots that I have never seen him miss though. IMO with this caliber of play, the 9 on the break should not count at all or at least not in the bottom two. Parica got beat by this and so did Scott, both being the 9th game and Scott's was on the HILL!
As for the comment you made, at least tell us what it was so we can give OUR opinion!!! lol j/k better man to apologize and move on.
I just know that if I made a prediction this weekend it pretty much happened.
Anyone have anymore word on JB? I talked to him on facebook, and he said he took the fall for the owners and they stabbed him in the back.....ouch
I just heard Jon Brown was fired anyone else heard this?
So, who is running the place now?
On a different topic, has anyone been to the new sports bar in West Des Moines that is advertising they have "13 world-class billiard tables"? I haven't been there, just curious if anyone knew something more about it.
Now thats a perfect critique from our own Grumpy Gourmet.
I think Desiree is the new manager...
As far as Big Shots on the west side, it's awesome. I like it in there. If you just want to play pool it's not comparable to Big Dogs. It has 12 or 13 Valley's they all play perfect. Most importantly though they have 3 dart boards and 3 lanes for Shuffle Board, which I heart. They got foosball and the arcade games as well. The food is delicious, they have lots of waitresses and the bar is quick fast. The TVs are huge, they show everything. It's the best hangout spot in the area for sure, the place gets packed, sometimes hard to get in the parking lot. The tables take dollars also which makes it pretty easy, it's $1 per game but if you put in a $10 you get 13 games and a $20 gets you 28 games or 30 games I believe. It's the nuts if you're looking to have a good time on the West Side. If you stop by tonite I promise it will be wall to wall and you won't have to wait for a single drink. No pool action though, if you want that you go to Big Dogs.
In general for more serious pool go to Big Dogs, for a place to kick back with the locals, be loud, drink, and play some hangout bar games, this spot wins that race.
