Prewitt 1st Full Splice

Here is the 1st FS cue to come out of the Prewitt shop. The workmanship is perfect and the finish is deep. I would agree 3000.00 for this cue would not be for everyone, but the most discriminating collector or player. Notice how the prongs are longer than most full spliced cues and what you can't see is the smooth transition from shaft collar to joint collar, you can't feel it.
IMO this cue provides an excellent hit, very solid and the harmonics travel to your hand easily. I guess Ed is going to make FS cues exclusively and I think he's on to something. It's a crazy piece of Cocobolo into birdseye and all white is ivory. Thanks to Martin at Westerncues.

did prewitt make his own full splice points? They sure do look good,it would look even better in my case

He makes his own blanks and the tolerances are amazing. Ed does only high precision work, everything is machined to the highest tolerances.

Nice acquisition you have there, mind if you can tell me how is different in terms of hit as compared to the other Ed Prewitts, assuming that you have played with other Eds before.

Tommy,
NICE!!!!!!!!! I LOVE WRAPLESS CUES<<<now there is a cue we can do some trading on ,,

ED cues are rock, The way it builds, looks and plays is FANTASTICS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Simple but plain class. Definitely one of my fav EP cues so far.

Congrats, and thanks for sharing.

I've had two other high end Prewitts and they had a stiffer taper. This one has what Ed calls his North American taper which is a little more flexible than the one he makes for the Asian mkt.

Maybe I should really save up for a Prewitt to really experience the whole 9 yards. Thanks for the explaination Tommy, appreciate it.

bump to the front for another look...
This is a beautiful cue.
I should have mine by the end of the year"
My 1st Prewitt had the same features, AND Just like you stated ...
The cue feels like a 1 piece cue from the shaft to the butt,
Perfectly fit and finished
Enjoy this cue

You are right $3000 for a cue like this is not for everybody, but you got something to please yourself and I salute you,I have to admit I like it.in fact its like my playing cue only just a little bit better looking.

my compliments to you for your taste

Dean

I don't usually comment on cues here, but this one is sublime. Zenith of good taste and style - a fitting antidote to the usual xmas tree bling that gets all the adulation.
