Hidden Treasure

You should feel guilty for not trying to get that sweet freezer for another 20 spot, it is probably fully of Crappie, Catfish, and Rocky Mountain Oysters. Seriously you should feel no guilt he gave you his price and you took the offer.

If there is catfish, or crappie in there, then yes, i will be mad

I heard Rocco Mediate is a good fisherman. WAIT! You are Rocco in disguise!

If you don't mind the asking, what did he pay for that set-up new? (and yeah, I agree, no guilt for you to be wearing, just a sh1t-eatin grin!)

If you were to put that on ebay, what mightcha fetch?

He said he gave close to 1800 for it...after I clean it up...if i sold it...id ask at least 1250 for it...it has everything and a bunch of extra tooling..not sure id sell it tho

My son and I are treasure hunters. He's got a collection of Native American Indian Fireballs that he has personally collected that reportedly date back thousands of years. Me, all I've got are some old stupid wooden fishing lures from some old guy's garage sale that cast like a baseball.

You asked what that old thing will do and I can tell you I don't know but getting it for that cheap price will surely bring you many sleepless nights so PM me for my shipping address so you can get some sleep. I'll find something for it to do.

I may even consider a trade straigh across for a Players Sneaky Pete...man I love them cues

sounds like one of those stories where some old lady has a very valuable muscle car in the garage, that used to be her husbands and she only wants a $1,000 for it.

Now that would be a find......I still forgot to get the damn tackle I originally went to buy...now I cant get ahold of him so I hope I dont miss out on the fishin stuff.

I have an old muscle car in my garage....but id take considerably more than 1k for it

Heck at the price you got that for I wouldnot even sell it. You can do all your tips ferrules and shaft work for the rest of your life and still not spend what you have into the lathe and the price of the work you could do yourself on all your cues. You got a really good investment there. Take the time to learn how to use it. You won't be sorry, you can even make a few bucks in the end. Oh yea practice on some junk shafts or low end stuff first.!! Good Find !!<<ED

Yea I agree I got lucky....but I have had 6 people tell me they have one of these and they are not worth squat. At least 4 of them have said they wouldnt spend a dime over 600 on it..I dont know, dont really know anything about it. All I know is I will clean it up this weekend, I will probably just get rid of it, this really isnt a machine I think I need, I am working on saving to get the bigger Model B Lathe. So this will prolly go cheap.

So what's next? The ark of the covenant? The holy grail perhaps? That was one hell of a steal. I recently stole a big g snooker table for 250 dollars, not a nick anywhere on it. Guy just wanted to get rid of it.

There is a 1912 10' snooker table in good shape for sale here locally for 750.00. I dont play snooker, and honestly its too dang big for me..I think its a good deal. People are selling crap like crazy now in this economy, if you have money, something will eventually fall into your lap..
