Just a little update on the German Championships which were completed by todays 9-Ball finals.

Dominic Jentsch ran 150 and out in the first inning of his semi-final match against Andreas Roschkowsky

Roschkowsky didn't have the chance to show his skills in the semis, but he advanced into this remarkable match with highruns of 90 (wins 150:86 in 2 innings) and 101 (wins 150:42 in 5 innings)
In the final tides turned and Jentsch lost 4:150 against John Blacklaw (5th inning, highrun 69)

The 8-Ball competition was won by Jentsch beating Christian Weigoni 9:2

In 9-Ball Jentsch lost 11:9 to Nicolas Ottermann

No 10-Ball competition held as it was officially introduced this season. We'll have that next year. It's already played in leagues and qualification tournaments for the state championships

The Europeans are steeped in 14.1 talent. They invest in their young players by giving them organized ways to compete & improve.

I wish there was a way for Americans to watch these players on TV, but they might as well be playing on Mars. With all this technology, we can't get video from the Asian or European tourneys?!?!

Sadly a contract between our governing body DBU and a media company was broken last minute. For our team premier league they've found another company but it was too late for the single championships, so there is no official footage.

Here's a little preview of what it would've been like. This is a small preview of the live stream that was produced during the Bavarian state championships

Commentary by our national headcoach Andreas Huber

But it looks good that we have live streams of selected premier league matches, matchdays 3 to 6 will be held during World Team Cup in Hannover

and btw, they play 14.1 race to 200 in league play

Did Ortmann, Engert, Souquet or Hohmann play this year?
