Who makes the best jump/break

Poolplayer,

I love it when people say the jump cue isn't an advantage. Then watch their jaw drop when I jump a ball and make a cut shot from 7 feet down table after pushing out for it. Better yet jump combo the 9 ball. My jump break has paid for itself untold times.

As for kicking, sure it would be great if we were all half phillipino, but we aren't. Try to safe me, but get whitey within 3 inches or less or it's skyking time. Now I jump to return the safe. Part of the game folks, get with the times.

I've got a couple of jump breaks. I don't like them.

For jumping, you really need a phenolic tip. When trying to break with a phenolic tip, you have no ball control.

My jump cue has a phenolic tip. My break cue has a had water buffalo tip.

The best of both worlds, in my humble opinion.

BTW: I'm a "D" player !!! LOL

Paul Dayton does excellent work also. You may want to check him out before you make your decision. I have been very, very happy with mine.

you don't really "need" a phenolic tip to jump well. i use a kamui medium and i've used the black WB tips before they all seem to work well

What type of jump cue do you use ? Ok, I can jump with my break cue from 3 balls away, but closer I really need phenolic tip.
